EMAO Treasurer Position OPEN
Our current Treasurer has resigned from his county position, which also included his role with EMAO. Therefore, EMAO President Alex McCarthy has appointed EMAO Past President Sarah McNamee to chair the EMAO Nominating Committee. This committee is responsible for identifying a slate of candidates to fill the vacant Treasurer position.
If you are interested in being considered for this role, please submit your letter of interest and resume to Director McNamee (smcnamee@co.marion.oh.us) no later than April 10, 2026.
Once the slate of candidates is finalized, we will distribute it to the membership and schedule a special meeting for the election.

EMAO Program Review and Policy Initiatives Survey
EMAO is conducting a survey to collect data on local emergency management capacity and key policy issues the association can address. Data accumulated from this survey will help direct the Association's priorities and policies and strengthen engagement with the State of Ohio.
The goal of this survey is to collect stats of county emergency management programs across the State and assess what legislative / advocacy issues are most important to our membership. We ask that you please complete this survey by close of business on Friday, April 10th.
