Lucas County EMA is hiring a GIS Planner/Operations Officer. Responsibilities include but are not limited to development and maintenance of emergency and disaster planning, grants management, facilitation of the Emergency Operations Center, develops and maintains Emergency Services’ GIS databases, gather geographic data. Produce accurate and legible decision-making maps, databases, dashboards and other spatial analysis. Responsibilities may also include assisting in updating, monitoring, and maintaining the 9-1-1 emergency telephone related system files. The GIS Planner will assist in all functions necessary to mitigate against, plan and prepare for, respond to, continue operations during and recover from all emergencies or disasters.
